As a pup she was cute and spunky. All grown up she's a diva! Zi is the first blue merle BC on the team and the first BC with blue eyes. She has amazing focus and doesn't care what other dogs or other lanes are working when she is working. This little blizzard hit the flyball field in July '08 and ran like a champ. She's finally decided to actually do her boxturn properly and has blown by the competition with her Sonic under the radar speed. Her high-pitched yips and yaps amuse everyone, as does her "hiking" the beds in her crate -complete with accompanying yipping - when she's not the one going to the racing lanes; hence her nickname of "Sonic". This girl will go sub 4 some day - we just have to give her time.

Her first tournament was fun! Zi was majorly focused and we are proud!
When Zi stops thinking and just Does It, her box is amzing.
She's ruined already - note the wild eyes and psycho stance.
Zi doing the Toss and Fetch competition at Wags 2008. She came in 4th in a huge class!
When you have a midget mode BC, you can carry her around. Heck, she weighs less than her height dog, Phantom!

Zima likes to cross-train in disc. And no matter what she does, she's always stylin'!
If she's the center of attention, Zi is happy!
We train our junior handlers young. Here is Zi being raced by Emma Reich -- still in stroller.
