Tempest Klondike Express, CGC, FGDCH - a/k/a "The Machine"!
Klondike was born on October 30, 1999. He earned his name because as a puppy he looked exactly like the Coca-Cola polar bear cubs from television commercials of the time. He is a very easy-going boy who plays well with others...most of the time. In his younger days, he showed in AKC and UKC conformation. He's been racing flyball, however, for most of his 11 years of life, and that is definitely his choice of play. Klondike has run in every position on the team, trained up numerous young dogs, and now enjoys the lower jump heights of the veterans class when he can get them. He still is the go to guy on the team when we just Have To Have It Done. When running flyball he sort of resembles a small white bull charging the box! Because of his formidable drive and flawless performances at tournaments, Klondike earned the nickname "The Machine". In the flyball arena, Klondike has more fans than Elvis did (really!).
