It's hard to be taken seriously when you only weigh 8 pounds but Dozer likes to be in charge. We began training Dozer for flyball just as a lark and were excited to see she has a cute little turn and loves the jumps. The only problem was that Dozer will only run for her boy, and he was focused on other things. For a year, Dozer just "went adventuring" with her boy during tournaments. Then he got serious about flyball, and he and Dozer began to train in earnest. They are quite the team and give all of us a thrill when things go right for them on the field. As you can see from the pics below, Dozer and Garrett are inseparable and that is exactly why she joined our household. Every boy needs his own dog and these two are a match made in heaven. She's a bundle of "big dog" energy in a tiny, tiny body and we love her to pieces.
